Close Treads Staircase
Project : Renovating Old Staircase
Close Treads With Timber Balustrades
The staircases were getting old and already damaged in some places. This is the reason Becky was looking for a bespoke staircase designing company. She wanted to have something different this time but the congested space was not suitable for something ultra modern and stylish. So, she stuck to the design she already had but it had to be appealing to the eyes.
When she contacted Ovoms, she was confused about the design and layout. Also, there was a budget constraint. So, the challenge was to build something that best matches her preference and budget. After a quick site inspection, the team at Ovoms outlined an initial design. It was a closed treads staircase with timber balustrades and painted treads.
We were to remodel the whole staircase. Made a new plan and measured it according to Becky’s wish. It was not tough as we already had a visual representation of what the final design would be. First, we dismantled the treads, balustrades, and covered the entire space with supporting stamps as Becky was still living in the place with her children. So, we had to be cautious so the noise is kept to a minimum level. Our team of expert staircase designers and builders put the skeleton on display within the first week of the project and the rest of the weeks we installed the balustrades, readjusted the bendings, and put it into the shape we envisioned in the first place.
Our team literally worked beyond their limits to achieve the quality and detail the project demanded. However, we made it to the finishing touch and what was standing before us was aesthetically elegant, convenient to use, and robust in structure.
